Settings

Changes how every cost is displayed across the whole garage. Amounts you've already entered aren't converted — just relabeled.

Every 30 days, when you open Dipstick, it asks NHTSA about each car's year, make and model, and tells you if a new recall shows up. Nothing about you is sent.

Backup

localStorage is a cache your browser can evict without warning — private windows, clearing site data, and iOS Safari's 7-day rule all wipe it. This download is the only real backup.
